"Professor Gizmo's Invention Show" is a fifty minute show and tell demonstration of inventions old and new, featuring the energetic, if slightly daffy, Professor Gizmo. The professor finds, fixes, and reinvents all manner of things broken and curious. His work is imaginative and often unsuccessful, though through his failures, he perseveres, undaunted and often discovers or invents something quite unexpected in the process. The show is geared to children K-5, and is a travelling musical show, going out to many elementary schools in Baltimore and the surrounding counties. Performances are also given occasionally at the Baltimore Museum of Industry. In the show, I play Dudley, the professor's well meaning, but often ineffectual apprentice, who lives by the motto, "If at first you don't succeed..."
